In Search of Father Frost - New Year celebration for the Russian-speaking community in Kitchener!
The social library “How to Get to the Library,” with support from the City of Kitchener, is excited to host a joyful, traditional New Year celebration for children aged 4-6 and their families!
Join us for a festive winter celebration designed for children aged 4 to 6 and their parents! Experience the magic of New Year traditions, fun contests, laughter, and a special visit from Father Frost and Snow Maiden. Come to Kitchener City Market on December 15 for unforgettable holiday memories and, of course, gifts!
Get ready for a magical experience filled with interactive performance, games, and activities. Join our beloved fairy-tale characters as they tackle challenges, solve riddles, and go on heroic quests to find the missing Father Frost—where could he have wandered off to? Your little ones will be whisked away into an enchanting story brought to life by costumed performers and a script created by professional animators. This is the second season of New Year events hosted by “How to Get to the Library,” and you can read glowing reviews from last year in our project group and on our website.
Come dressed as your favourite winter character and bring your best holiday cheer. We can’t wait to see your smiles and share in the festive fun!
*The event will be conducted in Russian language.
Your ticket includes:
• Admission for ONE child, with parents or guardians joining for free. Bring the whole family—moms, dads, grandparents, everyone!
• A chance to take a photo with Father Frost in front of a beautifully decorated holiday tree.
• A special gift from Vasily, the library’s beloved cat. One ticket = one gift.
Price: $45
Tickets will be available on the website.
