Walk-or-Wheel 2024 for Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region

Come walk, run, or wheel in support of inclusion and belonging for people living with a disability and their families!

Our Kick-Off event is happening at Kingsdale Community Centre on September 21, 2024 from 3:00 to 4:30. Registration opens at 2:30.

Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of fun and belonging. All are welcome and registration is free or by donation.

Activities Include:

Welcome Offering smudge and prayer to creation Warm-Up Accessible Walk-or-Wheel Loop Activities on the loop: bubble machines, tattoos, face painting, games, crafts, scavenger hunt and more Learn more about Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region - our programs and services, volunteering, joining the team and how we build a Waterloo Region where everyone belongs Closing remarks Participants are welcome to continue the campaign by raising awareness and fundraising for Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region until October 4th.

All funds raised support community development initiatives: Open Space Meetups, Camp Subsidies, Caregiver Connection Groups, Turning the Page Together, Inclusion Workshops, and the KW Library of Things.
