Sensory Tummy Time is a space for babies to interact with others, deepen their understanding of the world around them, and develop fine motor & cognitive functioning skills (sight, sound, touch) all while spending beneficial time on their tummies to promote healthy development. Bringing your own blanket is encouraged.

In the first part of the series, parental figures and babies will be playing with colourful sensory boards made up of oil & water. In the continuing weeks babies will enjoy finger-painting sensory boards, pompoms & hair gel sensory boards, and playing with beach balls while focusing on rolling, all as we listen to on-theme stories!

For children ages 0 to 12 months with a caregiver.

This program is part of a series. There are 4 sessions taking place on Thursdays: September 19, 26, October 3, 10.

Early Learning Programs for young children at WPL are based on literacy research and include tips and information for parents and caregivers. Your active participation in these programs will maximize the experience for you and your child.

We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.

Programmer: Vrinda
